Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Major Crimes Unit are investigating the Saturday night shooting left three adults dead as a double homicide and suicide.
According to Winston-Salem Journal reports,Shianne Soles, 19, and Meaghan Burns, 23, of Massachusetts, were found fatally shot in Virginia, Saturday, while Donovan Moora, 22, of New York, was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his upper body inside a car at a nearby Dollar General store.
All three service members were declared dead on the scene.

Police believe that Moora shot Soles and Burns before turning the gun on himself, according to the Virginian-Pilot.
Soles, who turned 19 in April, was said to have enlisted in the Navy in July 2018. She was a recent graduate of Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington, where she ran track and was a cheerleader, her family told KHQ.
Burns enlisted in the Navy in September 2015, while Moora enlisted in November 2017.
Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Major Crimes Unit and the Navy's NCIS are said to be investigating the incident, WTKR reported.
