A man who killed 12 people at a Thousand Oaks bar was a former U.S. Marine who might have been suffering from PTSD, the Ventura County Sheriff said.
Ian Long has been identified as the black-clad gunman and ex-Marine who opened fire at a crowded college bar in Thousand Oaks, California, on Wednesday.
Ian Long, 29, opened fire on the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks at 11.20pm.
According to ABC News, the suspect’s full name is David Ian Long, but he went by his middle name and was known as Ian Long. The victims have not yet been named by authorities.
Ian David Long lived in Newbury Park, not far from the club where he threw smoke bombs and rained bullets on a crowd of more than a hundred people.
