A woman had made threats in the Denver area and was armed and “extremely dangerous.”
Authorities say 18-year-old is armed and dangerous and was allegedly “infatuated with (the) Columbine school shooting,” according to The Denver Post.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said deputies were posted at the school district as they hunt teenager Sol Pais, who was last seen in the foothills of Jefferson County Monday wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants, and black boots.
According to Denver7 News, when a reporter when to a Surfside address associated with Sol Pais, “an FBI agent answered the door and told reporters they couldn’t say anything about why they were at the home.”
“We are currently investigating what appears to be a credible threat possibly involving the schools,” the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet. “Children are safe. Deputies are at the schools. ”
The FBI did not respond to a request for comment, but the Colorado Education Department said in a tweet that the threat came from “an individual identified by the FBI. ”
CBS also reported that Sol Pais is the suspect in the Columbine and other school threats. Authorities indicated that people should approach Sol Pais with caution.
'She is a white female, 18 years old, approximately 5'5' in height, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants, and black boots. She was last seen in the foothills of Jefferson County.
“Please call the FBI tipline at (303) 630-6227 where your call will be answered immediately if you have seen this individual or have information on her whereabouts. Please do not approach her as she is considered armed and dangerous,” wrote the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
