Two people detained in the Kamille McKinney abduction have been charged with unrelated crimes.
Police are obtaining murder warrants against 39-year-old Patrick Devone Stallworth (left) and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Derick Irisha Brown (right), who were identified as persons of interest in three-year-old Kamille 'Cupcake' McKinney's disappearance last week.
Authorities told the Birmingham News the photos were not of Kamille, and that none of the charges pertained to her disappearance from a Birmingham birthday party on Saturday. He is being held on $500,000 bail, the News said. A second person of interest who had been detained along with Stallworth was also being charged in separate cases.
The body of three-year-old Kamille 'Cupcake' McKinney was found in a landfill over a week after she went missing from a birthday party in Birmingham, Alabama, on October 12.
Police offered a $28,000 reward for information about Kamille's whereabouts as her family made desperate appeals for her safe return.
'I mean she's three, man. She's innocent. I just want my baby back at the end of the day like anybody else would,' her father told WBRC last week.
Anyone with information on Kamille’s disappearance is asked to call the Birmingham police tip line at 205-297-8413, Crime Stoppers 205-254-7777, *HP or 911.
