A Maryland school board member resigned on Tuesday, October 6,who wrote she hoped President Donald Trump would die after his positive coronavirus test has resigned.
Jacqueline Fischer, who was first elected to the Washington County School Board in 2002, wrote: “Since he has tested positive for COVID19, maybe the country will get lucky and he will die. Wouldn’t that be an act of karma!”
Fischer was first elected to the Washington County School Board in 2002 and served from 2002 to 2006 and again in 2010, 2014, and 2018.
Fischer’s current term, which began in 2018, was set to expire in 2022.
WDVM has reached out to Fischer for comment, but has not yet received a response.
According to Fox News reports,Trump was to leave the hospital after receiving a fourth dose of the antiviral drug remdesivir Monday evening, Conley said. He will receive the fifth and final dose Tuesday at the White House.
